![]() ![]() At any rate, it is hard to complain about getting more ways of playing this fantastic game. In some disappointing news for Android owners, Netflix’s game library is only available for IOS devices, so anyone looking to play Hades on the go will need to look elsewhere. With Bastion’s and Transistor’s controls having been translated to a touch screen fairly effectively, I am sure Hades can similar make a smooth transition. Considering the gameplay trailer doesn’t really show the game’s interface, it is not entirely clear how the game’s combat will translate to touch screen devices. Netflix has confirmed that Hades will be arriving as a free download for subscribers in 2024. On top of some really solid isometric hack-and-slash combat that Supergiant Games has honed in its previous games Bastion and Transistor, each run through the Underworld gives Zagreus the opportunity to deepen his relationships with the other Greek gods and inhabitants of Hades’ domain, leading to a greater story focus than is usually found in the roguelike genre. Playing as Zagreus, son of Hades, you must fight your way out of the Underworld, taking down mythical monsters and damned souls while upgrading your weapons and acquiring powers from Zagreus’ divine extended family. Hades originally released back in 2020 following a period in Early Access. This week, the streaming giant has confirmed that it will be distributing Supergiant Games’ 2020 roguelike gem Hades on IOS devices. Netflix is continuing its efforts to bring some of the best indie games of the past few years to mobile devices for its subscribers. ![]()
